I was a bit surprised by this one. 20 songs clocking in at just over 46 minutes, that just didn't look right. Once Warning Blast starts blasting off the speakers, you forget all about it and just go with the flow. The music here is punk-ish thrash with a little bit of death metal elements thrown in for good measure, and it's a hell of a ride. Some songs sound a little too "angry" (in a bad way) but at least do not deter from the overall mood of the album. Siege of Power play it fast and catchy for the most part and some of the stuff here will stick in your head right after the first listen. If fast, crunchy, razor-sharp, catchy thrash with a punk vibe sounds appealing to you, then Warning Blast can certainly deliver the goods.
