The Occult, spirits, Czech legends and other crazy shit are the trademarks of these Experimental Black Metal masters, led by the polyvalent Franta Storm, multi-instrumentalist and eccentric (not to say bonkers) in his spare time. Leaving some Black elements behind to experiment even more than usual on Fascinator, Master's Hammer don't exaggerate in the amount of alien elements and showcase the impeccable quality that is expected from them. This is, however, a dense and slow to digest type of album, and the 50+ minute length doesn't work in the band's favor, despite each song (even the instrumental ones) being quite enjoyable. At the end of the day, it's a cool release for those seeking to blend their daily dose of Black Metal with a lot of other elements. |
