Short and sweet, raw and dirty black metal is what Black Blood Invocation offer on this release. If you like a kind of muddy, heavy, doomy vibe to your black metal, then you'll want to take a peek at this one. I like how in just under 12 minutes the band has packed some raw, fast mid-90s-ish black metal with a heavier, crushing vibe that is simply punishing. The vocals are closer to a death growl and are just as haunting as the music. Good things come in small packages. |
