Starblind is a Swedish band and 2017's Never Seen Again is their third full-length release. I've not heard any of the band's prior material, but I can safely recommend this one to any and all fans of Iron Maiden's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. I mean, it really sounds a lot like Seventh Son, from the smooth production to the thumping bass to the slightly proggy songwriting. Starblind really do it up right and, while the sound isn't exactly unique, tracks like "Pride and Glory" and "Avarice (The Fourth Circle)" are excellent. Check it out, late-80s Maiden fans, you won't be disappointed. |
