Expect the expected with this new album from Metal Law. All-out Heavy Metal à la Priest, Accept, Maiden and Manowar are some names that instantly come to mind when listening to this. You might just as well stick to those names and let these German metal warriors bring you a healthy dose of familiar and safe British steel and epic US metal that does not surprise you much at all. Metal Law's sort of 'play-it-safe', old-school Metal is definitely easy to listen to, and it finds its targets effortlessly. What they may lack in originality, they sort of make it up by their almost-too-familiar yet masculine Heavy Metal anthems. Bear in mind, they probably will never become neither Maiden Jr. nor Manowar Jr., but why should they do so in the first place? Playing passionately straight from your heart and soul should earn people's respect and that's what our Germans in Metal Law have done on this new album.
