Recorded in Birmingham, England during the "Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour", this followed the acclaimed "Live After Death" - big shoes to fill! I wouldn't go as far as to say it's as good as LAD, but it comes close. Interesting set-list with a few songs that we don't hear often live, like "Still Life" and "Killers", plus some of the Seventh Son material such as the title track. The stage is pretty impressive, one if not the last very large and detailed stage set used by Iron Maiden. A giant Eddie in the back and ice-like set up front turn out great with the light effects added. As usual, the Maiden guys are in top shape, running everywhere on stage (at one point Dickinson is even running around with Murray on his shoulders), making the visual product even more entertaining. The interpretation of the epic "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" is monumental, justifying the cost of the video all by itself. And, of course, what would be a Maiden show without one of Bruce's rants... That's all in here too. The live performance is essentially flawless, something that always impress me with this band, considering all the running around that they do on stage.

A few minor annoyances: For the first 3-4 songs, they show glaciers melting or Eddie animations between the songs. The Eddie animations are cool, but this kind of break the continuity of the concert. Also, I don't know what's with the lighting, but some shots look like they had some cheap TV studio lighting, making those parts look a bit artificial. Nothing serious, really. ;) No added bonuses like interviews, this is just the show from beginning to end. This video is definitely a must-have, there's no question to it.
