Norwegian purveyors of all things filthy and hateful, Endezzma, have reached one more milestone in their career and got their second album, The Arcane Abyss, released on Singaporean Pulverised Records. Endezzma's mix of Black Metal, added with some occasional Thrash Metal riffs, works out really well here. The actual interplay between raw and at times pretty experimental Black Metal compositions (check out "A Grave So Deep" for example) and unforgiving and almost sophisticated Thrash riffs create quite a success story on The Arcane Abyss; a musical gallery of different contrasts and unexpected, deeply soul-tormenting and infernal atmospheres that these lads employ cleverly, managing to stay 'nekro' enough in their blackened yet arcane musical crusade. There's lots to be liked on this record, and with every spin you are also able to find new nuances in the songs. "Sick Kulta Lucifer," a mid-paced number, is a fist-raising anthem for all lost souls, truly feeding the power of the disciples of darkness and putting heaven in flames. The Arcane Abyss is full of soulful, blackened tunes, entangling spirit and much more...
