This is some pretty haunting atmospheric black metal like I haven't heard in a while. Not too many vocals and they're barely audible when they're around so you can even miss them if you're not paying close attention. They're indecipherable screeches that fit the music like a glove. Slow, heavy, haunting and sometimes creepy is what you'll find on this album. Too bad it's just a short demo as it's over very quickly and there are times when I'd like a full-length album of this stuff because, let's face it, sometimes you're having one of those days that just calls for the soundtrack to the apocalypse. |
