The occult Black/Death Metal band, formed under a crimson full moon back in 2013, put their four-track opus out in September 2016 and it showcases Kosmokrator's full potential to participate in crushing the kingdom of heaven. Kosmokrator represent this new wave of the underground movement in which some boundaries between Black and Death Metal are meant to be brought down, and in which you have got some freedom to play in the fields of more avant-garde sounds just to tag your stuff with some true originality and uniqueness. Take for example the song called "Kosmokratoras III - Mother Whore", which gets really darn disturbing when you hear what I call a sickening and perverted monks' choir chanting behind the background. Otherwise the song can hardly get any more intense and totally powerful. The last song, "Myriad", sounds like a cross between Suplhur Aeon's Lovecraftian-themed Death Metal, added with some true brutality and bestial ferocity similar to ancient-sounding Death Metal bands like Sadistic Intent. This mix is spot-on, surely appealing to both fans of the Black and Death Metal genres.

Up next I am expecting to hear a full-length studio recording from these all-things-fiendish-and-impure reeking Belgian fellows. The satanic apocalypse is near...
