Polish filth hounds of Hades, Goetia, have a new 4-track EP out titled Theurgia Goetia, which brings us four grinding, savage and raw Black Metal songs in the vein of early Marduk, Dark Funeral and Impaled Nazarene. If you have heard any of those bands, you should know the recipe Goetia are following. Hyper-fast tempos, distorted guitars and absolutely disturbed and deranged vocals attempt to kill the listener from the first note. Goetia has no plans to spare anyone with this intense and brutal EP. For true Black Metal maniacs, Theurgia Goetia offers all the necessary elements for a hellish ride right to the kingdom of Satan and back. It's nothing new of course, but it does the trick. Hail Lucifer! Hail Satan! |
