This is one of the worst death metal CDs I have ever heard. "Dysangelium" is an excruciating 21 tracks that all sound exactly the same. This is highly generic Morbid Angel ripoff metal with no riffs, no leads, and utterly unintelligible vocals layered with cheap-ass studio effects. The tracklist, as you can see, is amazing in that I don’t think there’s a single death metal cliché they missed. Every song blasts out at hyperspeed in staccato "grind grind grind grind grunt grunt grunt grunt" style without anything but a few lame soundclips from movies ("Hellraiser" – how original) to break the utter monotony. Even at 40 minutes, listening to this all the way through is an exercise in endurance. And a note to ugly bands: in metal it is no shame being a bunch of ugly dirty guys, but please spare us the band photos. If I never hear another song by this act it will be too soon. The only reason I gave this even 1.5 is because it is heavy and brutal, and if that’s all you care about this may appeal to you. But there are so many better bands out there I cannot see actually wasting money on this shitpile.
