Dark Lord save us from hipster Black Metal. This is from three guys from Normandy who should probably be prevented from making any more attempts at music. If you combine the pretension of art-house prog with the sounds of Black Metal, then you apparently get this self-indulgent crapfest. Yes, it is possible to make tremolo picking sound this wussy and trendy, it just should probably not be done. These songs are simplistic, repetitive, boring, and bereft of any artistic impulse besides ego-stroking. The production is shit, the songs are shit, this band is shit. |
