This band sure has come a long way from singing about raping She-Ra on their Behold... demo. Here we have the third full CD from this band who I always thought of as kind of a joke, but this is not a joke album. Agents of Power is a massive hour of True Metal goodness that recalls Skullview or early Domine in its balls-out metal geekiness.

This is packed with catchy riffs, headbanging rhythms, and sometimes over-the-top vocals. This is everything you'd expect from this kind of fantasy metal – excessive, sometimes silly, and never anything but totally enthusiastic. Most of this album is taken up with yet more wanking about Elric, but who doesn't love that? If you don't, you can still enjoy this highly entertaining disc of epic metal pleasure. Skelator are not going to win any awards for originality, and not all their songs are gold, but they are way better than a band called 'Skelator' has any right to be. Completely entertaining.
