I've seen this get some good notices, and it's not bad. Vuohi are a vicious, screaming Death/Black outfit from Finland, obviously. They have a fast, savage riff attack with a bit more melody that there appears to be at first blush. They have a lot of energy if not originality. They do have a tendency to let the vocals yammer all over the music, and that's unfortunate. Sometimes young bands need to learn that when it comes to vocals less is more, and not every moment of the songs has to have somebody screeching over it. Hopefully, with time they will develop a little taste. This is a fun demo that shows promise. |
