Shattered Hope are a Greek band purveying a rather staid stripe of Doom/Death. You get slow, crushing riffs, growly vocals, and a lot of atmosphere. This is less melodic than Doom usually is, with less mournful melody and more simple slow heaviness. It's a pretty pedantic approach and adds nothing to the genre that has not been done 5,000 times, and done better. If you are exclusively interested in early Katatonia and My Dying Bride, then you will probably like this, but I found it pretty lackluster and not very interesting.
