Destroy Your Life for Satan was originally released on tape back in 2001 and limited to 100 copies.  This new vinyl edition is slightly less limited - 666 copies.  No big surprises here from this French Black Metal outfit - although if you've heard only their very early recordings, you'll find a much better production job here.  This is raw Black Metal with no pretty sounds added:  Pure, violent, somber, evil and malevolent music and atmosphere coupled with agonizing, twisted raw vocals that give this recording an added dose of insanity.  The vocals are generally clear enough to understand most of the lyrics, which unsurprisingly hover around a dark satanic thematic.  The chorus of the title track sounds satanic and "possessed" enough to send the whole neighbourhood running for cover at the nearest church or calling 1-800-EXORCIST.  The cover of Venom's "Possessed" sounds amazingly like Venom, even the vocals are very close to Cronos', but this version sounds more powerful, evil and darker than the original - a good mix of two generations of Black Metal. Despite the less demoniac style compared to the other four songs here, this songs fits like a glove and doesn't sound out of place at all.   Destroy Your Life for Satan is mostly a mid to fast-paced offering that despite sounding a little repetitive and monotonous at times (such as on "Black Millenium"), is bound to stick in your head and torment your every waking moments for days after listening to it.
