Screaming for Vengeance is considered by many fans to be the best Judas Priest album. It is also my favorite along with Defenders of the Faith. Originally released in 1982, the album has just been reissued and remastered. What better way to start an album than with the classic "The Hellion/Electric Eye"! This song is still one of the best the band has ever done. The lyrics, guitar harmonies and solos are excellent. It is followed by a string of classics such as "Riding on the Wind", "Bloodstone", "Screaming for Vengeance", "Devil's Child" and of course the mega-hit "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" which made the band known to many young music fans hungry for videos in the early MTV years (known today as eMpTyV. ;))

There are no weak songs on this album. The vocals and the guitars are predominant since the three songwriters are Halford, Tipton and Downing. The remastered album contains two bonus tracks, "Prisoners Of Your Eyes", a song later covered by Halford with some changes on his "Live Insurrection" album, and a live version of "Devil's Child", from the excellent show in Memphis-Priest Live 1983. A true classic and a must-have for all heavy metal fans.
