Review

This is the kind of album I don't like reviewing, in fact I almost didn't.  I know a hell of a lot of work has gone into doing this album, based on Shakespeare's MacBeth, and maybe my expectations were a little too high, I don't know.  Jag Panzer is a mature, talented band so the musicianship is there, the vocals are great... So what's wrong?  Well, overall the album does nothing to me, as if the whole 65 minutes go on the same tone or something - not that it is, as some tracks are essentially classical music, some are ballads, some are rockers, but still, nothing.  Still, I give it a 3.25/5, as the quality is there, and some people will probably enjoy it, but I didn't, at least not much.  Maybe if I give it another chance later...
