This band is Australian though they remind me more of American brutal death metal, namely the likes of Cannibal Corpse. It's unrelenting, fast, brutal, razor-sharp death metal, mostly old school with a modern vibe, so really similar to what the aforementioned American death metal stalwarts are doing these days. I think that says it all; there's not much room to take a breather while listening to the aptly named High Impact Violence, just pedal-to-the-metal technically-minded (not wankeringly so) brutal death metal that will get all that negative energy out of you. Just be careful headbanging to this as your brain might turn into liquid. Additional Information - Vinyl, digital and cassette releases by Me Saco un Ojo Records |
