Damn. What a rush. This is mostly very high-speed black/thrash, and by high speed I mean some of the stuff here is so fast that it's like a blur. It's very raw and chaotic for the most part, with some much slower passages that are more easy-going and melodic, with some spoken vocals. I hear a lot of old-school heavy metal-style melodies here and there, always working up to insane black/speed/thrash that gets the blood pumping. Don't headbang on this unless you want to try to find your head after it snaps off your neck. Death Racer take a crowded genre and speed it up to hell and back, which makes for an interesting, if not all that memorable listen. Lots of fun. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
