This sounds as silly as the band and album names and artwork imply. This is goofy crossover party thrash with clean vocals that remind me a bit of mid-80s rap collaboration (think Aerosmith and Run D.M.C.) and also the Beastie Boys. That actually doesn't sound bad and, since the four songs here tell a story, this works better for the EP. The music isn't especially aggressive most of the time, just chugging along but, coupled with the vocal style, has a very catchy vibe that gets you going. Nothing flashy, nothing revolutionary. It's silly and kind of fun for those times when you're in the mood for that kind of stuff. |
