This is a short but sweet crossover thrash EP. There's a bit of a thrash 'n' roll "party thrash" vibe going on here as well, so it's fun and catchy while not lacking in aggression. It's largely old school, though there's a bit of modern groovy thrash going on here. Fear not, Exhausted actually make this sound good. Lots of meaty, heavy riffs can be heard here, but there's no lack of razor-sharp, fast riffing going on as well and I couldn't help but dust off the good ol' air guitar. The vocals are gnarly thrash vocals bordering on death growls at times which might be a turn-off for some people who might otherwise like the music, but hey, either embrace the gnarls or deprive yourself of some good music. It's short, it's not especially original, but it's four solid, enjoyable tracks. |
