Some arcane and often obtuse Funeral Doom, with a heavy bottom end and a recording job that makes it sound like the background music of the end of the world. Crushing riffs that seem to go on and never end while the vocals rasp indecipherably in the background. In short this is what I like Funeral Doom for. I want it to be an unfriendly, uncompromising cauldron of riffs and crushing heaviness infused with a mood of destruction, and that's exactly what this is. Originally recorded as a single track, these songs all meld one into the next, creating an unbroken soundscape of pure Doom. |
