This is a band I have not heard before, but they fit well in the continuum of more extreme Finnish Black Metal bands with some more avant-garde elements, tortured vocals, and a base of just solid fucking riffs with a good tone. It's hard to think of a band this really reminds me of, and that's always a good sign, as it points to originality and a desire to do something more distinctive. There is maybe some similarity to stuff like Behexen and Sargeist, but not overly so. Black Metal that just wants to stab you in the head with a cold steel spear. |
