It's been five years since the last album from this one-man band, and I wondered if maybe the project had vanished in the pandemic years like so many others, but I am glad to see that's not the case. I have enjoyed Arx Atrata's last works and this one is no different, offering up quality, involving Atmospheric Black Metal. Far less in the mold of Summoning or similar bands this time, sole band member Ben Sizer continues to build his own sound within the style. If you like this kind of stuff as much as I do, then this is not a release you want to miss.
