GAAAAHHH! These Chilean maniacs are back. I don't know what's in the water over there, but it sure unleashes some great metal. This debut album is unsurprisingly much in the vein of the 2020 EP Mortuary Feast of Skeletons, that is really fast, powerful, dark black/thrash with origins in mid-80s German thrash such as Kreator. Old school as hell but with the speed cranked up, with harsh, demonic vocals and a chaotic delivery that destroys everything in its path. There's a hell of a lot of black/thrash out there, but Mayhemic are certainly in the top tier with their uncompromising approach to the craft. More of this, please. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
