This band has been around since 2018 and released their self-titled debut in 2023. They blend classic progressive metal, like post-Mindcrime Queensrÿche and Dream Theater, with a grunge flair, most noticeable in some of the vocal lines that have an Alice in Chains/Layne Staley quality. The songs are heavy and propulsive but none of the hooks or riffs really clicked. It's the kind of music that if it was on between sets at a show, would be perfectly suitable for checking out the band merch or waiting in the beverage line, but nothing I'd be trying to remember for later.
