This is commercial, kind of radio-friendly heavy metal with some hard rock leanings like it was common in the '80s. Catchy tunes, clean singalong-inducing vocals, some rockers and some rocking ballads, the ingredients are all in there to make this the kind of album that brought people into metal back in the day (and some of us stuck around :)). With just about every song, my mind travels back to the mid-80s with all the similar songs we could hear all over the place, hell I'm even reminded of Billy Idol when listening to "Heart Attacker." Overall, it's a lot of fun, though several songs may come off too mellow for the average metaller, but then again sometimes you have a craving for something like this, and Bad Disease will get you to dinner time.
