I've known this band for a while but never paid too much attention to them for some reason. Til klovers takt is chock-full of melodic, atmospheric, heavy, borderline epic black metal. Their sound is like a mix of mid-to-late '90s and early 2000s Scandinavian black metal. Ominous, heavy, powerful, intriguing at times. For the most part, it's not the kind of stuff you'll headbang to, but rather sit back, close your eyes, crank up the volume and just let it take you away. That kind of full, immersive sound just calls for that. Listening to this over and over, I had this feeling of being simultaneously crushed and also floating on a cloud, enchanted by the dark melodies. It's not so much an album that you listen to as it is one that you experience. Either I never paid close enough attention, or they've changed their sound but, after this, I feel the urge to revisit the band's previous material.
