A sound somewhat typical of the Hells Headbangers stable, Eskhaton play fast, like reaaallyyyy fast death metal. This EP comes off as a pedal-to-the-metal wall of sound, plain and simple. It's kind of hard to distinguish the songs from one another, though each has some elements that break what would otherwise be somewhat monotone. The growls are not too forward in the mix and almost sound like they're just riding the waves of this death onslaught. Horracle (see what they did there?) is not particularly interesting, but it sure gets the job done when you're in the mood for an aural speedfest of total destruction—or "cyclonic death metal of absolute chaos and total death", as they say on their Facebook page, which is pretty fitting. ;)
