This is a very short—almost an EP—album of music that is an interesting mix of crunchy Heavy Metal and blackened vocals and attitude. The riffs on this thing are pretty fucking good, making for solid headbang fuel that is not a million miles removed from stuff like Wizzard or I. The recording is intentionally rough, but good enough to hear and not miss the underground vibe. The vocals are a very dry rasp that really kind of let down the music, as the rest of the band is cooking along with some hooky shit, but the vocals just don't have any character at all. Despite the short length and the uninspired vocals, I find the music on here good enough to be entertaining and to make me want to hear more from this band. |
