Stormwarrior. That's the only reference you need to know what sound Germany's Stormhunter are going for on their 2022 Strangle With Care EP. Just like the last one, 2020's Ready for Boarding, Stormhunter give us slightly gruff singing, plenty of multi-vocal choruses, double-kick drums, and big, melodic riffs. The lyrics cover "metal" topics as song titles like "Headbanger's Ball" and "Remnants of Society" make obvious. The songwriting is so note-for-note Stormwarrior (and to a lesser extent, Wizard) that I wouldn't have blinked if you said it was a new Stormwarrior release. There really isn't much else I can say about this one. If you love Stormwarrior, you should get some enjoyment from Strangle With Care, just expect music that defines the notion of imitation being the sincerest form of flattery.
