With a name like Holocausto Canibal, I really wasn't expecting anything other than some brutal death metal that's too brutal for its own good. Well, the first track is disposable as it's basically a pig being tortured or some crap like that—not pleasant and definitely skip-worthy. But when the actual music starts, this is brutal, grinding death metal alright, but anything but chaotic. These guys play it fast as fuck, but they do it in an... "orderly fashion," so to speak. Very precise death metal going on here through and through and death growls that actually sound good, which I wasn't expecting based on the band name alone. It's one of those albums that's of a decent length but makes you beg for more. While I recommend just skipping the first track (unless you're a seriously disturbed individual—that track is really annoying), this is some pretty cool stuff.
