This band apparently started out in Saudi Arabia (which is definitely unusual as Metal Archives lists fewer than 20 bands from that country), though they have apparently since moved to Germany, which sounds like a good move, to be honest. This is an intense and brutal album of hammering Death Metal that verges a bit into more technical territory, but also shows a surprising dedication to finding weird and dissonant riffs, rather than just blasting away. The production is good, even if the vocals are a little too buried in effects, so that they become a guttural rumble you can’t make out. Still, the instrumental aspect of this is tight, proficient, and vicious, and the songwriting has a bit more identity than bands like this normally manage. |
