It’s hard to keep up with this album as it’s like a blackened Motörhead on steroids: It’s fast, catchy, heavy and the vocals add a bit of an angry evil vibe to the ensemble. There’s a strong black ‘n’ roll thing going, though it’s not really that and definitely more on the speed/thrash end of the spectrum. It sure makes things more entertaining and upbeat than the band would otherwise be. It’s the kind of stuff one expects from Midnight, so no surprises here for those who know the band. Blackened speed/thrash with a good dose of Motörhead-style metal. What’s not to love?
