This album has similar cover art to Imperialist’s Cipher and presents generally the same kind of sound, but much better. I was honestly surprised there was no crossover among band members, the sounds are so alike. This is a very Osmose-sounding band, with an aggressive Death/Black approach that reminds me of Angelcorpse or Diocletian, if a good bit more polished in the recording department. This band is also into dark, Sci-Fi lyrical themes, which I also dig. This isn’t extraordinary, but it is solid all the way through. |
