Now this is how you fucking do it. Vomit Bag Squad are a Thrash two-piece hailing from Brazil, but I'd have said they come from the Bay Area if I didn't know any better as they're pretty similar to the likes of Vio-lence and Death Angel if they got in a bar fight with S.O.D. If that sounds like something filled with violent, addictive riffs and pissed-off Crossover-leaning vocals, and unapologetic energy and attitude, that's because it is. That alone would make this worth listening to, but the band also has a solid feel for song structure and prominent killer bass lines that elevate this from a good fucking time to a great fucking album. I don't have a lot more to say than that, but look at you trying to get intellectual about a band named Vomit Bag Squad! This is 40 minutes of music you play while slamming beers down your gullet and your head into a wall, and it's an excellent example of the style, so get in the goddamn mosh pit and join me in the carnage brought to you by Tales from the Bag. |
