This was certainly an eye-catching album title when I received this a few weeks ago. "I guess it had to happen" was my first thought. I don't have much information about this Portuguese band other than they released a demo in 2019 and now this EP packing 12 songs clocking at just over 19 minutes, most of them under one minute with a couple just over two minutes in length. Bing, bang, thank you 'mam alright...

This is in Portuguese and the song names are just the track numbers in Roman numerals, so other than the album title hinting at COVID-19 (and the rest being something about old men fucking—can't get quite a complete translation as most translation engines seem to choke on it due to inappropriate language or other reasons. Since the press release mentions they're not a politically correct band, that's not too surprising. The vocals are barely decipherable anyway, so let's just assume the lyrics deal with COVID-19 and sex (the occasional song intros/outros with moaning are unmistakable).

The band play very punkish black metal with so much of a punk vibe that the black metal elements won't be enough to draw in those who dislike punk. As you might expect from a mix of those genres, this is very chaotic and kind of crazy sounding which, again based on the press release, seems to be what these guys are all about. The music is extremely raw and screechy, fast as fuck and this is not the kind of stuff that'll stick in your head once it's over; it's just too messy for that. There's the occasional spoken intro, some sound effects as well as the aforementioned moaning and that stuff is dispersed through the EP. I found that more distracting than useful, but it is in line with the crazy, kind of goofy image that I'm getting from Solução Final. It's kind of fun while it's on if you're in the mood for something completely nuts, but it's not something most people (I guess) would reach for regularly. Interesting, but that's about it.
