Fellwarden are essentially a side project of the similarly atmospheric/folky Fen, but while Fen have moved into more proggy territories in recent years, Fellwarden seem to be mining a much purer strike of atmospheric music. This has the expected rolling, melodic keys and tremolo riffing that are built into long songs that brood like a misty landscape. The vocals are about 50% clean, but they are low-pitched and stacked so they sound more like a chorus. The harsh rasps are mixed low, so they don't stand out a lot, and they don't even need to be here. Overall this is decent mood music, but it lacks the presence or songwriting chops to be really compelling.
