Finnish Doomsters Supreme Havoc are well known for their intense live shows, so it's not too surprising that they'd just go ahead and make a live video of one of their rehearsal sessions. Ditch Sessions was recorded live at Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki, Finland, on November 30, 2019 at some undisclosed location without an audience, and it's as solid an introduction to their Crust-flavored brand of Doom as you'll likely get.

The session starts off with the sludgy "Options" whose crawling, heavy thugging is a perfect example of this band's Crust influenced Doom at its very best. "Uskonto" ("Religion" in English) is much more straightforward Punk than strictly Metal, but it does show the band starting to get more energetic on stage. We get back to the Metal with "Dead Everything", an energetic, angst-ridden number that gets us back to something more Metal and kicks plenty of ass while doing it. They close with a cover of notable Metal/Punk act Mana Mana's "Paniikki on Ekstaasin Veli", and they do it justice with their intense, Crust-influenced sound.

The video and audio quality are actually much better than you'd expect, and the team behind it deserves props for how it turned out with what must have been a tight budget. The band has a good amount of stage presence, especially vocalist Mika Hankaniemi going nuts in his Black Dawn shirt and Darkthrone vest on stage, all of which is amplified by his dry and snarly Black Metal-esque shrieks throughout. The session itself can be found online, though there are plans for a cassette and VHS version exclusive to actual live shows (you know, when bands can do those again). Whether or not you think this is worth that hassle, this look into how the band plays and performs was released online for free, and it's certainly worth a watch.
