With an album name like Keepers of the Flame, one can easily guess what's inside. Greyhawk play catchy, anthemic classic-style metal with cheesiness aplenty. Soaring vocals with great melodies that call for a singalong from beginning to end, air-guitar-worthy riffage and solos and some nice drumming are all bound to keep you busy with your air instruments. The positive vibe on Keepers of the Flame is downright infectious and there's no way you can't get out of this without a healthy dose of headbanging and fist in the air. Fun and pompous, Greyhawk will make you beg for more. |
