Formed in 2010, Peruvian Black/Death horde Putrid have been making intense evil music like they're trying to re-crucify Jesus for about a decade, and with their sophomore album Antichrist Above, I can say they've got it nailed down. They clearly love the likes of Angelcorpse and Morbid Angel, as they have that same kind of ferocity and hatred for Christianity, and they use it to make an album of merciless, slightly rollin' Black/Death that's just pure fucking mayhem from start to finish. There's not really much more to say about this, so if you like your Metal venomous and brutal, then Putrid have you covered.
