There are two other bands with the name Solipsis, but this one's a fairly new band from Slovakia that doesn't even have a Metal-Archives page as of writing. They work in a moody, atmospheric style of Black Metal not too far removed from early Drudkh. Quiet piano melodies often back up tremolo riffing when they aren't just the focus for the more atmospheric bits, and while it's all fine, there's nothing here you haven't heard before, and at under 30 minutes there's not a lot of it to really go off of. Good, but not enough to really stand out from the pack. |
