This debut from Italian Death Metallers Chronicles of Hate claims to take inspiration from bands like Death and In Flames, but I only really hear the latter in some of the lead work, which is admittedly pretty good. Most of the riffs are groove constructions, the vocals are a throaty yell I don't care for, and the songs mostly blend into one another no matter how much I listen to it. Another day, another Death Metal band that fails to stand out. Move along.
