Vultures Vengeance has been around close to 10 years (according to M-A) and 2019's The Knightlore is their debut, which means they've been honing their sound for quite some time, and it shows. The production, the playing, the songwriting, hell even the band outfits all scream '80s. The vocals are a clean scream, soaked with echo in the mold of Blackie Lawless and Dan Beehler. The riffs are strong and all the songs kick ass, no wimpy ballads muddying up the waters here. What I can't do is get one song to stand out so, while they are all strong, they sound a bit like one another which hurts The Knightlore a little. That's the only real problem I have with the album as almost every other aspect is rock solid and that means Vultures Vengeance has the potential to release a monster. Do not take your eyes off this band.
