How about that title? Say it quick five times. ;) Joking aside, Megalohydrothalassophobic is a really nice little slab of mostly slow to mid-paced death metal with a very cool dark and evil vibe to it that is downright addictive and it's hard not to listen to the thing on repeat for hours (hey, I've done it a couple of times...) The crispy guitar sound calls for an unholy combination of headbanging, air guitaring and foot tapping and that sound is well complemented by the harsh growls that also have that crisp razor edge to them. The atmosphere that binds all this together feels heavy as hell and is sure to keep the winds at bay. Seriously cool stuff if you like your death metal with lots of layers and dark melodies.
