Nova Ordo Ater is a 2009 rehearsal recording and, well, for a rehearsal I think this sounds pretty good. Some black metal studio albums don't sound this good. Needless to say, this album sounds very raw and has that live vibe you can get from a rehearsal. This is Satanic Warmaster sounding unpolished and thrashing around with an energy you can just feel coming out of the speakers. Some (all?) of those songs ended up on proper studio releases, but what makes Nova Ordo Ater so special is the rawness of the recording and the result is just pure fucking evil incarnate. If you're into Satanic Warmaster, you owe it to yourself to hunt this down as it showcases the band at its purest.
