This is rather confused Black/Death Metal that is clearly going for a kind of technical vibe. The only thing really "black" about it is the raspy vocals, otherwise this mostly sounds like Death Metal in the general vein of tight bands like Hate Eternal, though this is often more experimental, mixing in some gloomy passages and clean vocals. The problem with it is that none of it seems to have much point. There's no real sound here, just a collection of pieces, and the songs don't have any identity, they just jerk and flop along until the end, and they go on far too long for what they have to show for it. All these songs are over the five-minute mark, and most of them are more like seven minutes, making the whole album an unbearable 76 minutes long. There's no reason for this to go on the way it does, especially when the first three songs show you everything this band can do, they are just going to keep doing it until you turn it off. Not awful, but has no reason to exist.
