I've been having a hard time getting this one off my playlist for the past 3-4 weeks as this is a really fun album – or I should say a double album as this is the band's last two albums released together, which makes for over an hour of speed. This is a real throwback to the first half of the 80s with a strong Violence and Force-era Exciter speed metal vibe mixed with a good dose of Bay Area, sometimes mildly crossover-ish thrash. You like speed? There's plenty of that here and your fingers will hurt from playing that air guitar. The lyrics are more on the silly/party style and ultimately Speed Metal Mania/To the Grave is all about having a good time.
