This is a compilation of material from this Chilean black thrashing horde and it's pretty cool for a compilation. Let's face it, sometimes those albums lack coherence. Here, however, the songs sound like they are part of a proper studio album. These guys play fast, heavy, raw and pounding blackened thrash that marries the old and the new in the genre. The sound is raw but not to the extent of hiding away some of the more intricate parts, though overall this is relatively straightforward and about as in-your-face as it gets. It's pretty simple: If you like the kind of material that Nuclear War Now! have been releasing for years and that Hells Headbangers are releasing more and more, then this will be just right up your alley. |
